White Strawberry from Japan
The fruits in Japan are very special and are often given as gifts. A lot of work and extra care are put into their cultivation. For example, for each bunch of grapes, paper is applied manually, which protects them from rain. In this way, fruits with a unique taste and appearance are obtained. But not always…
Before my trip to Japan I watched programs about Japanese fruits and I wanted to try some. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a melon or bunch of grapes for 150$ (but please, don’t tell anyone ;). But there it is! A strawberry for 10$, I can afford it! This is not a high price for an unique experience. In addition, this is not ordinary strawberry, but unique white strawberry. So I went to the store, and bought the last piece of white strawberry. It was packed in a plastic cover and a plastic box and a bag.
‘Can you finally say how it tasted’ you may ask. Sooo… it was tasteless. I hoped it would be the best strawberry in the world, but unfortunately it was the worst. My adventure with the most expensive strawberry in the world turned out to be unsuccessful, but I can’t wait to taste the most expensive melon and grapes. I know they will be the best 🙂 !
I invite you to the new project about Japan – Amazing Japan! It’s just launched and we want to connect all Japan Lovers and anyone who wants to know more about Japan.
